Recruitment Camps
The Alberta Luge Association, in conjunction with the Canadian Luge Association, is targeting its next generation of Luge athletes with summer recruitment camps in Calgary, Alberta.
Participants will take part in a wheeled sliding session to build a familiarity with the Luge sled. Recruitment coaches will be looking for athletes aged 8-14, with strong overall fitness and those who demonstrate a keen interest in the sport. Cost is $30.00 per camp. Public Luge
The Alberta Luge Association is offering an exciting opportunity to try the sport of Luge. Participants will receive an introduction to the sport from one of our Development Coach's and have the chance to go down the last part of the Olympic Luge Track at Canada Olympic Park. All proceeds from the program go directly to the Development Luge Program. No experience necessary.
